2018/7/11 今日の成長日記（世界にはどれくらい犬がいるのだろうか）

今日は色々とやった。

まず4記事書いたきがする（⇦勉強やれや！笑）

そして、卒業論文関連のことを2時間ぐらいした。

そこからパソコン内の情報整理もした。

でがしかし、今日はケースに関してもなんも手をつけていない、、、！

そこで、だ。

今日は簡単なフェルミ推定をしてから寝ようと思う。

簡単に思いついた英語のケースで行こう。

~How many dogs in the world?~

Answer Process

At first, I want to define dogs that are raised in house, family or something like that.

Then I want  to use formula that explains my process of thought.

Number of dogs =( number of families in the world )×(% of posession)×(average of % of posession)

There are over 65 billion people in the world and i want to set a hypothesis that number of family is 1/3 of world popluation.

And, I need to assert that dogs is usual as pet only in developed and wealthy country like US and Japan. Because the culuture to treat dogs is kind of leisure, they are not raised by because of essential use.

then the possibility of popluation that has possibility to have dogs as pet is narrowed to maybe 1/2 of all the population in the world. 

And I also want to set a hypothesis that 1/5 of families have dogs.

At last, I want to hypothesize that 1/5 number of families that have dogs poesess 2dogs.

So the Answer will be

65billion × 1/2×1/3×1/5×1/5=0.433billion dogs

久しぶりに英語の勉強も兼ねてやってみたので、正直内容はめちゃめちゃかもしれませんが、答えとしては4300万匹ほどが娯楽目的に世界中で買われていると計算できました。

悪い数字ではないと思うのですが、いかがでしょうか。。。
